ECONOMIC EQUITY BUSINESS FORUM
In recognition of National Women’s Small Business Month, WEOP host its annual Economic Equity Business Forum, themed “Driving Progress: Empowering Women to Lead, Innovate, and Thrive.” This special event conducted in partnership with Small Business Majority featured dynamic speakers and interactive roundtables discussions.

SMALL BUSINESS ADMINISTRATION
WEOP signed a co-sponsorship agreement with the U.S. Small Business Administration (SBA). Through this agreement, our organization is positioned to extend the benefits of our innovative programming to a broader audience, empowering entrepreneurs and small business owners with the skills they need to build successful business enterprises.

THE WEEC COALITION
WEOP is proud to announce the launch of the Women’s Economic Equity Coalition (WEEC). It is our intention to take a leadership role in building a foundation that fosters collaboration and partnerships. WEEC serves as a powerful platform to unite women, raise awareness on critical issues, and amplify our voices to drive meaningful change and create a lasting impact in our communities.

GOLDMAN SACHS ONE MILLION BLACK WOMEN IN BUSINESS
WEOP is one of the featured partners and actively involved with referring women and business advisors to support program activities for the “Black in Business” initiative.

MULTICULTURAL WOMEN’S EVENT
In celebration of 2024 Women’s History Month, we joined forces with The Center of Asian Pacific American Women (CAPAW) and hosted an event that united multi-cultural women. This gathering created a vibrant space for networking, knowledge-sharing, and fostering solidarity among women of diverse backgrounds.

Strategic partnerships with entities such as Small Business Majority, Small Business Administration (SBA), Emory University Goizueta Business School, Invest Atlanta, and Access to Capital for Entrepreneurs (ACE) supports our work.

AGREEMENT WITH ANCHOR INSTITUTION

PROCUREMENT
WEOP’s proprietary curriculum “Prime Time”, was designed specifically to help women of color navigate the federal contracting process and understand the important role of socio-economic programs. The model curriculum has been utilized by other organizations serving women.
